A beautiful walled garden in the extensive grounds surrounding Threave House.
There is also a Threave Castle, ancient seat of the very famous and powerful Douglas family.
Unfortunately for me, it would appear it is not accessible to wheel chair users.
The castle is on an island with access via a little rowing boat.
